鉛硼聚乙烯手感似蠟，具有優(yōu)良的耐低溫性能(低使用溫度可達-70～-100℃)，化學(xué)穩(wěn)定性好，能耐大多數(shù)酸堿的侵蝕(不耐具有氧化性質(zhì)的酸)，常溫下不溶于一般溶劑，吸水性小，電絕緣性能優(yōu)良；密度低；韌性好（同樣適用于低溫條件）；拉伸性好；電氣和介電絕緣性好；吸水率低；水汽shen透率低；化學(xué)穩(wěn)定性好；抗張性。
